POPPY MONTGOMERY (Mae Rose), an actress who is gaining attention, made her feature film debut in a starring role this past summer in the Paramount Pictures’ and MTV Films’ Dead Man on Campus, opposite Tom Everett Scott and Mark-Paul Gosselar. She recently wrapped production in San Francisco on the independent film The Space Between Us, in which she starred opposite Jeremy Sisto.

Montgomery can also be seen in The Other Sister, co-starring opposite Diane Keaton, Juliette Lewis and Giovanni Ribisi. This Touchstone film is directed by Garry Marshall. Other films include a starring role in the short film America Untitled, Rob Lowe’s directorial debut for Chanticleer Films; The Cold Equations, a futuristic film opposite Billy Campbell; and a supporting role in her feature film debut in Carl Franklin’s acclaimed film Devil in a Blue Dress.

Her television credits include her acclaimed role as Jennifer Lukens on ABC’s Relativity, the role of Allison on the hit series Party of Five, a guest-starring role on NYPD Blue and a starring role in the television movie Jake Lassiter.

Montgomery grew up in a large, eclectic family in Australia. Like Poppy (whose middle name is Petal), her four sisters are all named after flowers: Rosie Thorn, Daisy Yellow, Lily Belle and Marigold Sun.
