NED VAUGHN (Sheriff Pike) has a wealth of impressive film and television credits. Since his first major screen role in The Rescue, he has gone on to appear in such notable films as Courage Under Fire, Apollo 13, The Hunt For Red October, Wind and The Tie That Binds. Among the numerous television movies and mini-series in which Vaughn has appeared, he received particular praise for his performance in The Tuskegee Airmen. He recently reteamed with Tuskegee director Robert Markowitz to make Into Thin Air: Death on Everest, which was shot entirely on location in the Austrian Alps. Vaughn was a regular cast member on the acclaimed television series China Beach and he appeared frequently on Steven Bochco’s Murder One.
