Some of his film credits include Armageddon, Sister Act II, Bad Boys, A Thin Line Between Love And Hate, The Last Boy Scout and Witch Hunt. He has appeared on television as the recurring character Wide Clyde on The Jamie Foxx Show and has guest starred on Roc, The Drew Carey Show and Martin. Taliferro has also amassed a wealth of commercial credits, including work for Reebok, Frito Lay, Coca-Cola, Nike, Sega, Budweiser, Snickers, Web TV, Visa and Miller Lite, and he was the first African-American to appear in a Mercedes-Benz commercial with Cybill Shepherd.
