BERNIE MAC (Jangle Leg) recently drew the attention of critics and audiences alike with his portrayal of strip club owner "Dollar Bill" in New Line’s The Player’s Club. Some of his other memorable performances include roles in the films Booty Call, Above The Rim, Friday and Spike Lee’s Get on the Bus. Mac’s other film credits include B.A.P.S., House Party 3, Walking Dead and How To Be A Player.

In addition to his film work, Mac has numerous television credits, including the recurring role of "Uncle Bernie" on UPN’s Moesha, as well as HBO’s Only In America: The Don King Story and the WB’s The Wayans Brothers. He has guest hosted NBC’s Later and also created and hosted his own Cable ACE-nominated variety show Midnight Mac. Mac has a development deal with Columbia/TriStar Television for a half-hour sitcom loosely based on his life, which he will executive produce with Ted Demme and Elephant Walk Entertainment.

Born and raised in Chicago, he first got his start as a stand-up comedian on the HBO hit Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam. Not long after, Mac came to the attention of Damon Wayans, who soon cast him in his feature film Mo’ Money. He continues to work stand-up, performing to sold-out audiences with the 1999 Crown Royal "Kings of Comedy" Tour Presented by HBO and "The Bernie Mac Comedy and Jazz Showcase."
